Terve!

CONGRATULATIONS NATHAN AND LAUREN!!!!!!!!

It's lovely to hear of your decision. Lauren, I'm so excited for you. You get N8 to yourself for the rest of eternity, what a lucky woman. He is a great brother who has helped me out a lot. My prayers go out for you two!

Our mission is on fire right now! Baptisms are higher than they've been in the last 25 years. God is truly a God of miracles. He loves his children and knows how to take care of them. It's a blessing to be here at this time. We are staying very busy trying to juggle everything and follow the spirit at the same time. It's wonderful practice for real life. We must strive to have the spirit with us at all times and in all that we do out here. Otherwise we're just wasting our time and energy, which is actually the Lord's time. :) It's surely the same after the mission as well. For God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. That's close to the most important goal I have for my life. Without the Holy Ghost one cannot teach, be happy, nor be saved. I'm thankful I have the opportunity to serve here in Finland and learn about how the Holy Ghost functions. It really is the greatest gift we can receive here on earth.

We are striving to especially follow his promptings as we teach. It's been a true adventure to let go of our own plans and go with what feels right. I know that when we do what just feels right and follow the spirits ever so gentle promptings it will yield great results in our lives and in the lives of others. For example, recently I've been in two teaches were it just felt like heaven. Almost like the heavens have opened and Heavenly Father is letting us feel the glory of his home. It's a feeling us nor the investigator wanted to ever loose. Anyways, under both those circumstances we followed the spirit and invited the investigators to be baptized. One time was on splits and once was here in our area. We are working hard to get this young father of two ready for baptism on the 20 of this month. His wife is a member and this will be such a blessing for their eternities.

Our Buddhist investigator, is progressing well. Her family is very opposed to her joining still so please pray sincerely that their hearts will be softened. She came to stake conference on Sunday and really felt the spirit. She has decided to be baptized but hasn't set a date. She will be a very strong member.

It was so nice to see lots of old familiar faces at stake conference. Vahur Sander, a man that was baptized while I was in Espoo, gave a talk and was sustained into a calling in the stake. He is doing so well. The fruits of righteous labors are so sweet. It was a tender mercy of the Lord to be able to see and talk with him.

The work is going better than ever right now!

Sending warm love from the cold country of Finland

Love you, (yes, you too Lauren.)
