The Zone Conference went super well! All was a success, and the spirit was really able to teach! Now we are following up a ton to make sure the Elders are all putting it into practice. We taught/learned five principles: Always teach a principle of the five lessons (ALWAYS!), invite the members to share names, put a date or appointment to go with the members to contact, always invite to baptism in the first leccion, and have the goal in mind always to baptize weekly (have the faith) Thanks mom for the faith quote! Love it!
Yeah there are a lot of hills! We walk up and down a lot.... but it's all good! Feet are good! The mission is about 20 miles wide, but to the south it extends further south. Our zone is the furthest south the mission goes... and I went there this week in interchanges with a DL. It was about 30 min in a bus! It was so different (pueblo). Yeah it is safer here... more laid back (still city, but there are fields and mountains! lovin life!
There are only six sisters here, one ward so they are doing fine.
We are eating pretty well., we bought food today and are going to cook and do everything together,,, pretty pumped for that!" eggs, omelets, pancakes, you name it,,, we can do it!
Yeah we are doing really well. We have been teaching a lot and working on being more effective teachers. It is awesome to evaluate, and better your skills. It is a really good companionship that we have, we are always talking about how to be better or how to help someone (whether it be a missionary or investigator) I love this, its great! I feel like we have really been able to help a lot of people this week... missionaries and investigators and members.
We put a goal to be examples and live what we teach 100% including what we taught in the zone conference. We are living it so that we can be examples. Like Nephi in the 17th chapter when he was the example for his brothers, (study that one).
So all is well, we have someone lined up for baptism every week of August, so that should be sweet! Life is good, love you all!
Us going to eat in the private van to the Manchinelie home (members) super nice community like the colony; gated, guards, mountains.
