Today is the 15th... Mexico's Independence day! PARTY!!! Its pretty crazy so its p day!

Tiffany: She was asking McKay how he 'sharpens the saw', picks himself up, keeps himself going when things get tough.

Little moments, contacting people and getting rejected, and then laughing.... or seeing someone progress, or laughing at some crazy Mexican fix, or Jury rigging that the Mexicans do! I have a picture collection calles, solo en el DF! only in Mexico! or helping someone... .with service!

Hey mom!

So this week was pretty sweet! Packed full of events, but oh so rewarding! First off we had exchanges and I went up to Topilejo with Elder Ledezma. It was a great intercambio! We found 2 new investigators and invited them to be baptized... they accepted and now have baptism dates for October!

It rained a bunch that evening and was so cold! But all went well! Then we had our zone training on the Doctrine of Christ... wow I loved teaching that! The spirit was able to testify to all of us. Wow what an experience! so great!

Then we had the crazy busy Saturday! First of all we went to the offices to find out the changes!!! Elder Erickson and I are going to be staying here together! We are stoked! Life is goood!

Then we had the activity where they opened up the mini visitors center here in Tlalpan. (Still not sure how it is going to function because they don't have any screens, pictures, or materials.) But it was cool because we brought a few people off the street and they were super interested and stayed the whole time! We were happy about that!

Then after the activity we had the mega baptismal service with eight baptisms!!!! Two are from Topilejo and six from our ward! It was marvelous. We managed to start on time, have the services, and baptize eight in one hour! It was so so so sweeeet!

Everything went basically flawless. Everyone was so happy and the spirit was so strong! There were over 80 people there! It was a huge success.

But when the spirit hit me the strongest was when they were confirmed members in the sacrament meeting! We were asked to confirm them, and it was an amazing experience. I hadn't ever felt the spirit work through me like it did in that blessing. It was an unforgettable experience! By the time we finished the confirmations and the sacrament it was 9:55! hahahah it was one of the best sacrament meetings I have been in! So spiritual! We were all so happy throughout, and I know that Heavenly Father was even happier. It is amazing to be part of His work and His glory.
